Argentina Cafe in Houston

So friendly and clean. Order at the counter. They have a large menu. But for some reason they didn't have much of it when we went on a Sunday. It might have just been the timing. Delicious empanadas. Soccer was playing on all the TV's. But it wasn't loud.

The food was amazing! Never had blood sausage but was good. Very laid back atmosphere. Restaurant was very clean and waitstaff was great! Pastries are amazing. Definitely will be back when visiting Houston again.

Ate here at lunch on a Wed - arrived at 12.40 - seated immediately - it was lovely weather and i almost sat outside, but we sat inside - would have been a nice place/time to sit outside - ordered the salad platter - came with three types of salad - Argentine Salad (kinda of like a potato salad - very tasty) - caprese salad (excellent cheese and taste) and a house salad - simple and excellent and fresh - i also ate a beef empanada - yahoo! (Best thing on the table) my compadre ordered entrana (skirt steak with argentine salad - excellent beef with the chimichura) - for dessert we had flan with dulce de leche - yahoo again! The servers spoke mostly spanish (which my compadre speaks well) and were a little slow to refill water glasses, etc...

Me and my family have not eaten out since the COVID-19 has started. However, we have been supporting our local businesses and ordering takeout. I called to order their Parrilla for 2 and they told me it was for dine in only. I asked why and the boy on the phone could not give me a reason. He put me on hold and then told me “It’s from the boss”. I said that is not a reason. The worst customer service seriously. Now the boss lost a long time customer, because this boss won’t spend their money there anymore.

I recommend their pizza and their latte. It's really good. Unfortunately, they don't give the best service. I wish they were more attentive.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Any questions. I'll wait. Great atmosphere with a nice selection of delicacies. The hospitality is excellent and the food so far has been very good.

Delicious food and coffee. The people who work here were kind and professional. The only problem is that I live in California! I think of this place often and want to come back. If I’m ever in Houston again I’ll make a point to visit this café again.

The cafe is located in a beautiful area. I would recommend the outside seating option and definitely the coffee and of course all the different food selections
